Today's post isn't about art, however, just as a landscape painter may occassionally take artistic license and paint a portrait, today I take artistic license to discuss a nonprofit project that I am involved with.
Church Under the Bridge in San Antonio (CUBSA) offers hope to the homeless in San Antonio by bringing them food, clothing and the Word of God. They feed the homeless "under the bridge" (under a major freeway intersection) three times a week. I have become involved as their webmaster and recently launched a new web site for them (built on the FineArtStudioOnline platform).
If anyone is interested in helping out, there are five ways I've identified, all of which would be of great assistance:
1. Prayer
2. Place a link from your web site to
http://www.cubsa.org3. A future art donation (I have an idea for a future fund raiser)
4. A financial donation (can be made on the CUBSA web site)
5. If in San Antonio, volunteer to help (I can get you details)
Thanks for letting me indulge a bit today. I promise to get back to art next week.

What a worthy cause. I will pray for the homeless and for the project.
I will perhaps donate a painting for the future fund raiser.
Keep us posted on this work.
Sincerely,
Carol Griffin
PS. I am an artist who is trying to use the lens to shed light on my work through my site. Thanks for all the marketing help. I really need it.
I'm also a person who is trying to live allowing the LIGHT to shine through to others.
That is perhaps the hardest.
Have a great day!!
