The Power of the Email Newlstter....and FASO

by Dreama Tolle Perry on 10/29/2009 2:43:11 PM

Just received the following email from our customer Dreama Tolle Perry.

Hello Clint,

Just a quick update...

I just sent out my 6th newsletter.  I have, just today, got them archived and now available through my website with FASO..- Constant Contact, who I use for this, has just added that feature along with the ability to myself and others to  share it on social networks like Twitter, Facebook, etc.  It allows me to categorize them with dates and articles which will be helpful for my readers.  (Editor's Note - FASO also has a built-in email newsletter program).

And more great news is the testimony to the power of the newsletter--.  The latest newsletter results (it went out  this past Saturday)---- I have sold 3 paintings, have another one under consideration that I am working to close, and got a full pay for a workshop scheduled in June of next year that I just announced!  Now all of those things happened specifically because of the interest the newsletter keeps stirring up. I am averaging about  sending one out every two weeks, not as often as you suggested, but much more often than I would have considered doing, had I not been influenced by your "Victoria's Secret" theory! Aside from that, I rec'd lots of nice feedback with people telling me they are enjoying it and hope to be owners in the future of some of my art.  Obviously, all of it--the blog, the website,  the newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, --all work together.  Your continual conversations on these subjects is what has spurred me onward to make it happen.  It does mess with my studio time some, but not as much now that I have so much of it set up and going--the maintenance part is less time consuming.

Your information is what started all of this and is what keeps helping me to grow my business.  It is nice to be able to be proactive in your own career---up until a few months ago I think I just felt that so much of it was in a gallery's  hands and therefore out of my control.  Thanks for helping me to understand I have LOTS OF OPTIONS!

Hugs from Kentucky!
Dreama
